Timbaland & Magoo rapper dies at 50.

Timbaland & Magoo producer Magoo died at 50.

On Monday, his old collaborator Timbaland and others verified the news. No cause of death was given.

"This one hits different," Timbaland captioned an Instagram montage of the duo's 1997 hit "Up Jumps Da' Boogie" with Missy Elliott and Aaliyah.

"Long live Melvin aka magoo." His words: "Rest easy my king."

Ginuwine, who worked with Timbaland & Magoo on "Joy," also praised Magoo.

"I don't even know how to say anything at this point," he captioned his image.

I know we didn't talk much but the love was and will always be there buddy.
