Space Coast will see SpaceX Falcon 9 launch late Friday.

Wavy Line

Geospatial and FAA navigational warnings indicate SpaceX may launch another set of Starlink satellites Friday evening.

SpaceX plans to launch at 8:32 p.m. Thursday. Backup launch times are available until 11:30 p.m. if SpaceX cannot launch.

From Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40), the Falcon 9 rocket will fly southeast.

The Falcon 9 will land on an Atlantic Ocean droneship after eight and a half minutes. The booster, best known for the Inspiration4 and Axiom-1 missions, will fly its 21st flight.

This will be SpaceX's latest launch of broadband satellites, which provide internet to remote regions on Earth and at sea.

Astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell of the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics says SpaceX has 5,941 Starlink satellites in orbit. If Starlink 6-59 has the normal Space Coast 23 satellite payload, SpaceX will have 5,964 internet-delivering satellites.
