New iPhone 16 Pro Leak Shows Design Upgrade

Wavy Line

Weibo leaker Instant Digital claims the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have a 1,200-nit display in ordinary use, up from 1,000nits on the iPhone 15 Pro.

The iPhone 15 Pro's peak HDR brightness is 1,600 nits, and the upcoming models may match it.

Instant Digital's decent track record includes a recent rumor that the iPad Pro would include nanotexture glass and a landscape-edge front-facing camera. New iPad Pro was revealed on Tuesday, May 7, confirming both rumors.

That unveiling also indicated that the iPad Pro would employ Tandem OLED, a technique that uses two OLED displays together to provide a brighter display than one OLED could.

Apple called the iPad Pro screen “the world's most advanced display.” Thus, Apple may have a significant display update for this year's Pro iPhones.

The iPhone's typical brightness setting has been 1,000 nits since 2021. If this story is true, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a substantially greater everyday brightness. These brightness levels are crucial for outside phone users. We all experience screens too dim to view in sunshine, especially via sunglasses.

Several reports have suggested that the iPhone 16 range will have a new strategy for its new-generation processors, better camera lenses,

a new thermal design to prevent overheating, improved battery life, a new microphone to improve Siri, an extra button for video, and an improved main camera sensor. Thus, the prospect of a brighter display is appealing. Check if it's met.
