Jelly Roll discusses performing 'Sing for the Moment' with Eminem in Detroit.

Jelly Roll lost himself when he collaborated with a hip-hop legend.

The country singer sang "Sing for the Moment" alongside Eminem at Detroit's Michigan Central Station reopening last week.

The “Need a Favor” singer launched June 6 with an orchestral dramatic entrance. Eminem then performed the song's powerful rap verses onstage.

“Make some noise for Jelly Roll, y’all,” Eminem said after their performance.

during the height of my career, singing with Eminem in Detroit has to be the coolest moment "Jelly Roll told Entertainment Tonight during CMA Fest over the weekend.

"I sang 'Sing for the Moment' with him, which samples Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. I had an amazing night in Detroit. It was unreal."

Before the concert, Jelly Roll assumed the offer to perform with the “Lose Yourself” rapper “was a joke.”

I assumed it was a joke! I know Eminem's manager. "He's my friend," Jelly Roll told ET. I told Paul, 'Paul, don't play.' He said, 'I swear.' Man, meeting Eminem was the coolest moment ever."
