Ja Morant sends Anthony Edwards cryptic message ahead of Wolves vs Nugget

The Memphis Grizzlies haven't played since their 2023-24 season ended last month, but many of their players are still interested in the game, especially the postseason.

Sunday will feature two Game 7 matchups: the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers early on and the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets later on.

Ja Morant appears to be interested in one of the top-billed players.

Star guard Anthony Edwards posted a photo of himself from Friday night's win over Denver on social media with the caption "9 More," referring to the number of wins the T-Wolves need to reach the NBA Finals.

Morant commented on the posts with a foot print emoji, suggesting the 22-year-old is on the right track.

Griz star Ja Morant subliminally addresses Anthony Edwards.

Morant and Edwards are two of the game's most popular and talented young stars and often mentioned as the "face of the league."

Recently, many have debated who is the better player, with some citing the Grizzlies star's lack of availability this season due to off-court issues and injury woes.

However, regardless of each fanbase's desire to pin them against each other, based on the Grizzlies cornerstone's latest social media activity, it would appear that there is no bad blood between the two superstars.
