Dolly Parton Honors Dabney Coleman After His Death: 'Miss Him Greatly'

Dolly Parton wrote a moving ode to her co-star Dabney Coleman on Monday for her show 9 to 5.

On May 16, 2024, Dabney, an actor who had won an Emmy, passed away at the age of 92.

In an Instagram tribute, Dolly wrote, "Dabney was a great actor and became a dear friend."

 She was full of praise for her friend. He gave me a lot of advice when I was filming 9 to 5.

"He was funny, deep, and smart," she continued. We stayed friends over the years, and I, along with many others, will miss him terribly.

In addition, Ben Stiller paid tribute to the late star in his post.

"The great Dabney Coleman literally created, or defined, really - in a uniquely singular way - an archetype as a character actor,

" Ben posted on social media. It's difficult to imagine the last 40 years' worth of television shows and movies without him because he was so good at what he did.
