Cold Coffee Recipe

This simple handmade frothy cold coffee is quite refreshing on a hot summer day. Add additional chocolate sauce or vanilla ice cream to make it even more rich and creamy. Completed in 10 minutes!

I recall being in school when these coffee chains were just starting to gain popularity in India. We didn't have many, but Barista and Café Coffee Day were the most popular.

They used to be posh coffee shops/hangout spots where we would occasionally go for a cup of coffee.

My favorite used to be the cold coffee from Café Coffee Day. A glass of coffee on those scorching hot days in Delhi used to seem so refreshing.

Even now, I desire that coffee, and when that craving hits, I prepare this incredibly simple Cold Coffee at home.

This is a super simple cold coffee recipe that requires only three ingredients!

Coffee: I used instant coffee in this recipe, but you could also use espresso shot or filter coffee decoction. If you're using coffee decoction, use 1/4 cup. The taste of your cold coffee will be determined by the coffee you use, so choose one that you enjoy.

Full fat whole milk produces a creamy, thick coffee, but you can use whichever milk you choose. Using skim milk will make it slightly diluted. You can also use nondairy milks such as almond milk or oat milk.
