At this year's Academy of Country Music Awards, the country stars were shining brightly.
At the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards, which took place on May 16 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, Reba McEntire served as the host.
She presided over a night filled with spectacular performances, surprises,
tremendous excitement. This was her seventeenth time serving as the emcee.
An unexpected collaboration between Chris Stapleton and Dua Lipa was a highlight of the evening for musical duets, and it was a night like no other.
Other musical combinations who stole the show at the party of the year for country music included the real-life duo Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton,
as well as the nominees for Album of the Year and New Male Artist of the Year, Nate Smith and Avril Lavigne,
particularly Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, who are both nominees for Album of the Year.
It was also the first time that Post Malone, who had recently worked with Taylor Swift on her track "Fortnight" from The Tortured Poets Department, performed at the ACM Awards.
